Beatbox Glove

This audio-kinetic wearable device translates live vocal improvisations into physical movement. Constructed as a custom wooden exoskeleton. The system utilizes an Arduino-controlled, tendon-driven mechanism in which dorsal-mounted micro-servos pull nylon strings to articulate the performer’s fingers in sync with real-time vocal rhythms.

Additionally, exposed sensors and LEDs on the fingertips enable secondary environmental data capture and visual feedback. By physically merging the machine with the human body, the installation creates a bio-digital feedback loop that blurs the boundary between conscious intent and mechanical reflex during improvisation.
